I’m living in a highly abusive situation right now, and my mom is verbally and emotionally abusing me. She’s repeatedly told me that I’m going to hell, that she’d rather have a dead son than a trans daughter, that I should kill myself, that I’m possessed by a devil, etc. She’s sent me to conversion therapy in the past, and she’s taken me off of her insurance. I can’t leave the house without her permission, and even if I did I currently have no steady income. I’m currently three months on HRT.
If you’d like to help an Indian trans girl, please donate. Anything helps, I’m just desperate to get out of my current living situation and continue HRT.

There are some misleading headlines/tweets/general phrasings going around right now about the Republican healthcare bill. It passed the house of representatives, but it is not law. Currently Obamacare is still the law of the land. There are several more hurdles this bill would have to clear in order to be signed into law, many of which are looking unlikely. The Senate has already made a statement that they will not be voting on the House bill. That doesn’t mean we can rest easy, but it does mean that your healthcare is still safe for right now if you have Obamacare. I’m really glad everyone is staying informed and reading the news, but some of these headlines are scaring people and making them think that PP is now defunded and Obamacare is gone. The House voting to defund is different from defunding passing and becoming law.
I hope this helps someone. Stay strong everyone.
Why does “you get what you pay for” only apply to consumers and not employers?
Why do employers offering minimum wage expect dedicated, hard working, knowledgeable, experienced employees instead of just someone who shows up and does the job?
If you’re only willing to pay the minimum, you should only expect to get the minimum.
And customers KNOW the employees are paid minimum wage, so when they don’t get the level of service they wanted, they should’ve just expected that without complaining. You want better service? THEN YOU SHOULD WANT THE EMPLOYEES TO BE BETTER-PAID TOO.
